The President has appointed the following members to a 3d Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the House to consider the bill: Senator Pearce, Chair Senator Pete Kelly Senator Elton 2000-01-12 House Journal Page 1903 SB 101 Representative Green moved that the House rescind previous action in adopting the 2d Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report (page 1671). The question being: "Shall the House rescind previous action in adopting the 2d Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report?" The roll was taken with the following result: CCS SB 101(2d CC) Rescind previous action in adopting YEAS: 37 NAYS: 1 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 1 Yeas: Austerman, Berkowitz, Brice, Bunde, Cissna, Coghill, Cowdery, Davies, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Grussendorf, Halcro, Harris, Hudson, James, Joule, Kapsner, Kemplen, Kerttula, Kohring, Kookesh, Kott, Masek, Morgan, Moses, Mulder, Murkowski, Ogan, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Smalley, Therriault, Whitaker, Williams Nays: Sanders Excused: Barnes Absent: Croft And so, the motion passed. Representative Sanders placed a call of the House. **The presence of Representative Croft was noted. The Speaker stated that the call was satisfied. The question being: "Shall the House adopt the 2d Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report?" The roll was taken with the following result: CCS SB 101(2d CC) Adopt YEAS: 0 NAYS: 39 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 2000-01-12 House Journal Page 1904 SB 101 Nays: Austerman, Berkowitz, Brice, Bunde, Cissna, Coghill, Cowdery, Croft, Davies, Davis, Dyson, Foster, Green, Grussendorf, Halcro, Harris, Hudson, James, Joule, Kapsner, Kemplen, Kerttula, Kohring, Kookesh, Kott, Masek, Morgan, Moses, Mulder, Murkowski, Ogan, Phillips, Porter, Rokeberg, Sanders, Smalley, Therriault, Whitaker, Williams Excused: Barnes Hudson changed from "Yea" to "Nay". James changed from "Yea" to "Nay". Moses changed from "Yea" to "Nay". And so, the House failed to adopt the 2d Conference Committee with limited powers of free conference report, thus failing to adopt CCS SB 101(2d CC). The Speaker appointed the following members to a 3d Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the Senate: Representative Porter Representative Mulder Representative Berkowitz The Chief Clerk was instructed to so notify the Senate.
